Beyond the individual sentence
A publication review considers how the final elements work together: titles, headings, captions, contents, links, notes, tables, and cross-references. The goal is to identify inconsistencies or navigation problems before release.
This is useful when material has moved between formats or passed through several contributors. A correct paragraph can still be in the wrong section or point to a page number that no longer exists.
Agree the review surface
Specify whether the work covers a PDF, a set of web pages, or another publication format. Share the intended reading order, any production constraints, and the elements that can still be changed.
What the review returns
A prioritized issue list with locations and proposed editorial corrections. We distinguish errors from questions and suggestions, so the project owner can decide what to resolve before release.
Keep the scope precise
Layout design, accessibility certification, legal approval, and technical testing are not implied by an editorial readiness review. Include any additional requirement explicitly in the written brief.
